Program
Information about the programs of different cooking courses suggested:
Single day (1 lesson): it can be organized every day either for lunch or for dinner, we need a minimum of 5 days notice to organize the class.
Single Day: arrival at the castle within 1 pm – check-in and getting comfortable in the apartments
- 4 pm presentation of the course, aperitif before visit the castle’s museum and begin of the lesson where in three hours the chef Chandra will explain the basics of traditional Italian cuisine and especially some dishes of the Maremma tradition. To follow the preparation of a complete menu under the supervision of the chef. At the end of the lesson the pupils will take place to enjoy the meal based on the dishes just prepared.
Weekend (2 lessons) arrival on Friday evening, lessons on Saturday and Sunday morning followed by lunch .
- Friday: arrival at the castle within 6 pm, check-in and getting comfortable in the apartments.
7 pm presentation of the course and visit of the castle’s museum. Free evening. - Saturday: 10 am begin of the lesson where in three hours the chef Chandra will explain the basics of traditional Italian cuisine. To follow the preparation of a complete menu under the supervision of the chef. At the end of the lesson the pupils will take place to enjoy the meal based on the dishes just prepared. Free afternoon for extra activities.
- Sunday: 10 am begin of the second lesson going deeper on the basics necessary to the preparation of a special Maremma menu.At the end of the meal, every student will receive a diploma and a CD with all the recipes and photos related with the cooking class they have attended.Check-out by 5 pm
Full Week (5 lessons) from Saturday to Saturday, or from Sunday to Sunday.
- 1st Saturday / Sunday: arrival at the castle within 6 pm, check-in and getting comfortable in the apartment.

- 2nd Day: 10 am begin of the lesson where in three hours the chef Chandra will explain the basics of traditional Marremma cuisine. To follow the preparation of a complete menu under the supervision of the chef. At the end of the lesson the pupils will take place to enjoy the meal based on the dishes just prepared. Free afternoon for various extra activities.
- 3rd Day: 10 am begin of the second lesson concentrated on the preparation of the first courses of Maremma traditional cuisine ( Pasta, Soup, Rice ). To follow, the preparation of a complete menu under the supervision of the chef. At the end of the lesson the pupils will take place to enjoy the meal based on the dishes just prepared.Free afternoon for various extra activities.
- 4th Day: morning and first afternoon dedicated to enjoy the enchanting atmosphere of the castle, relax or take up an extra activities.
- 4:30 pm begin of the third lesson based on the preparation of the main courses of Maremma traditional cuisine ( red and whit meat, game ). To follow, the preparation of a complete menu under the supervision of the chef. At the end of the lesson the pupils will take place to enjoy the meal based on the dishes just prepared.
- 5th Day: after breakfast transfer to Orvieto for a visit of the Medieval part of the city, then leave by train for a tour in one of the Arts City ( Rome, Siena, Florence) . Return at the castle by organized transfer from Orvieto.
- 6th Day : 10 am begin of the fourth lesson concentrated on the preparation of desserts of Maremma traditional cuisine. To follow, the preparation of a complete menu under the supervision of the chef. At the end of the lesson the pupils will take place to enjoy the meal based on the dishes just prepared.
The rest of the day dedicated to enjoy the enchanting atmosphere of the castle, relax or take up an extra activities: morning and first afternoon dedicated to enjoy the enchanting atmosphere of the castle, relax or take up an extra activities.

4:30 pm begin of the fifth lesson based on the preparation ofa SPECIAL MENU of Maremma traditional cuisine (fish, truffle, mushrooms, game). To follow, the preparation of a complete menu under the supervision of the chef. At the end of the lesson the pupils will take place to enjoy the meal based on the dishes just prepared.
Closing of the course, every student will receive a diploma and a CD with all the recipes and photos related with the cooking class they have attended.
- 8th Day: check-out by 11am
